Guxxmail, Firefox extension to announce new emails at the statusbar

This Firefox extension shows an indicating icon at the statusbar which changes when new emails arrived. Number of emails next to the icon and popup are optional.

How to install the extension:
- Firefox directly recognizes the extension.
- Press “Install”.
- After restarting Firefox you can set the options (see Extras/Add ons/Guxxmail/Options).
- Fill in your pop3-account information.
- The refreshing-period is given in minutes. 1 minute is minimum.
How to use it:
When new emails arrived the indicating icon in your statusbar will change (into an open envelope). Depending on your chosen options there will also appear the number of the new emails next to the icon and/or an extra popup.
If a red icon appears instead there’s something wrong. Please check your configuration. If the problem remains please feel free to comment here.

Nice add-on, too bad I cannot get to work
Here is the error I get:

Nice but needs update for FF3 RC1

Gave up on it, eh? Oh well. Luckily it seems to work with FF3 (hacked with Nightly Tester Tools).
Firefox refuses to install this “because it does not provide secure updates”.
Turns out it is also not compatible with FF 3.0.1.
I find this a excellent plugin.
Please make it compatible with FF3
